The library is always on the look out for contributors who have material that will benefit the collection. As we cover such a huge diversity of subjects, there are plenty of 'gaps' that need to be filled, and even more subjects that need a greater diversity of images. We are always willing to discuss our needs with photographers, however, the type of pictures our clients require are specific, so please email us first, or tell us the details of your images before submitting any material. There is no limit to submission amounts... but we do ask that all pictures are accurately captioned and full photographer's details enclosed. There is however a six-month retention period, and this period of time must be adhered to and given notice of before images can be released back to the contributor

We offer the standard 50% commission for any pictures used, paid once the user has settled their account to ATM, and all contributors are issued with a contract. The contributors are liable for their own tax and NI payments on any remuneration they receive from the library, and this is declared in the contract.

The library will undertake and finance associated dealings of the submitted images such as library materials, advertising, promotions etc, paid for by ATM and not deducted from any commissions payable. The contributor will receive their commission as 50% gross, without any deductions.

The images are kept in archive plastic storage holders, within stand up filing cabinets and will be stored and handled in the best means possible to the library.

When required, a list of requests by clients that have not been fulfilled by the library will be issued to contributors to give them a guide line as to the material required by clients that is not covered within the library. We do ask contributors to keep their material as up to date as possible.
